Absolutely stunning shop filled with everything you could possibly need and more! Warm and welcoming, it was a struggle to leave but I did come away with some lovely treats for me. Thank you, I’ll be back.

A delightful shop, with a lovely range of yarn, fabrics and haberdashery. Christina makes you feel at home whether you're browsing, joining the knit and natter, or taking part in a workshop.

Went in at lunchtime today to buy a couple of Malabrigo skeins and a pattern. Shop owner(?) was talking to another customer so I politely waited next to her in line of sight. I expected her to acknowledge my presence - the usual smile and ‘I’ll be with you in a bit’ that you get in indie shops when they’re with another customer. Nope. Nothing. More interested in talking to customer about Martin Storey. I’m obviously not as interesting as him! So I just walked out and left. As it’s the second time this has happened to me here, I won’t bother coming back. I would have willingly paid £46 for the Malabrigo too. Much preferred it when it was run by different business - and friendlier staff - as Bluestocking Yarn.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the yarn and habby selection, minus two stars for the above.

What a gem! Found ourselves in the area & needed emergency knitting needles (!) - what a well stocked shop, with a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable owner. Managed to bag myself a fantastic bargain bag of yarn & pattern as well. Some really beautiful yarns in there, and will be happy to support by shopping there online in future, as there are so few bricks & mortar shops like this. Thank you! Well worth a trip.

What a fantastic shop! I found it on Google so decided when l was in the area, l would look in. So happy l did. It is a craft shop with a very kind and helpful owner and lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I am an avid knitter, the wool selection is vast and the patterns are super. My purchases from now on will have to be by mail. No problem for this shop. I highly recommend In Stitches.

Christine is amazing! I hadn't knitted for years yet signed up for aTopDown jumper class. I loved it, and, despite me having no experience of this technique, Christine was full of encouragement leading to me achieve a lovely jumper. I'm now hooked...onwards and upwards (or downwards)! Elaine
